Arte presents the spring 2021 collections in a spectacular and mysterious video NOMADS, unique in the world of interior and wallcovering.



Wake up in the jungle, be amazed by the mysterious tropics and pass through the wild desert. We take you on a journey of discovery of opposites; the rugged, desolate Sahara contrasts sharply with the vibrant wilderness. Darkness alternates with sunlight, water versus drought; two worlds come together and form one harmonious whole.

The shooting of NOMADS took place at the Handelsbeurs in Antwerp. This prestigious building from 1531 served as a stock exchange where shares were traded until 1997. The neo-Gothic covered fair square with impressive colonnades exudes grandeur and luxury, the perfect setting for this launch.


 


Collections:


Cameo: A collection with glossy relief inks in which asymmetry, varying shapes and structures provide an unexpected harmony.


DÉCORS & PANORAMIQUES: Each panoramic or decor immerses you in a fairy-tale or intriguing story. Not only the pattern appeals to the imagination, the material used is also surprising.


ESSENTIALS | LES TRICOTS: Les Tricots takes its inspiration from the haute couture fashion world with a clear nod to rich fabrics and specific textile techniques. It creates the illusion of real textile.


ICONS: Icons charms with its versatility of materials,all established values in interior decorating, such as shagreen leather (galuchat), bouclé fabric, metal accents and rattan.


MANILA: Threads of different materials and thicknesses are meticulously placed in patterns by hand, creating a minimalist design with corresponding relief.


MANOVO: Electic mix of botanical prints, geometric shapes and plain patterns. The jacquard technique used, weaves different colours of paper together, producing a pattern.


SAMAL: Wallcovering of capiz, oyster-like shells that are coloured, cut and placed in geometric patterns by hand. Capiz is a real natural product; each shell is unique and differs in colour and structure.


YALA: A mix of botanical patterns and jungle scenes.This relief wallcovering creates a subtle yet cuddly, three-dimensional effect thanks to the use of chenille and bouclé fabrics.
